Limitations of Legisway vs Tomorro

No Negotiation Interface for the Counterparty

Legisway does not offer a negotiation interface. This means that counterparties cannot comment, suggest modifications, or directly edit contract clauses without relying on third-party solutions.

Why is this a constraint?

When negotiating a contract on Legisway, you must send an external document to the counterparty, who will modify it on their end before sending it back. This back-and-forth continues until a mutual agreement is reached. Not only does this increase email exchanges and the risk of managing multiple contract versions, but it also represents a significant waste of time for you.

No Native E-Signature

This is one of Legisway’s biggest limitations. While it does offer alternative solutions for signing documents, electronic signatures cannot be directly integrated into the platform.

Why is this a constraint?

This means you will either have to continue signing contracts manually or subscribe to an additional paid e-signature solution on top of your Legisway subscription.

No Dynamic Variables

Legisway does not provide a feature for creating dynamic variables within contracts. Yet, dynamic variables can save valuable time for both your teams and counterparties by:

  • Auto-filling specific fields in contracts
  • Automatically displaying content based on variable values within a contract
  • Automating key aspects of contract workflows based on variable values (e.g., adding an approver, automatic archiving, scheduled reminders, etc.)

Why is this a constraint?

Without dynamic variables, you will have to manually perform all these tasks for each contract. With Tomorro, there’s no need to worry about this—everything is automated.

Advantages of Tomorro vs Legisway

An easier and More Organized Contract Repository

Organizing your contract repository is essential for improving efficiency and gaining better visibility over contract management. Tomorro understands this and has integrated key features such as:

  • The ability to create, save, and share filtered views
  • Predefining and automating contract archiving before contracts are even created
  • Creating an unlimited number of folders and subfolders while managing access rights
  • Offering multiple display options (table view, Kanban, etc.)
  • Performing advanced searches

Why is this beneficial?

As a company grows, the number of contracts increases exponentially, making it increasingly difficult to maintain an organized contract repository. A well-structured repository saves valuable time on each contract—now imagine the impact when managing thousands of contracts.

A Modern and More Intuitive Platform

With its user-friendly interface, modern design, and innovative features—such as an advanced document editor and the use of dynamic variables—Tomorro makes contract management simple.

The Added Bonus?

Enjoy free support from a dedicated account manager for your company, ensuring that all your questions are answered—meaning no additional onboarding, training, or support fees with Tomorro.

Seamless Integration with All Your Tools

Tomorro offers advanced integrations to connect all your essential tools. With Zapier integration, you can link over 4,000 applications, including Slack, your CRM, and more—all without any coding required.

Why is this beneficial?

Interconnecting your tools enhances efficiency, visibility, and organization—all while maintaining a secure and seamless workflow.

Conclusion

Legisway is a well-established legal tool in the French market. However, it has chosen not to develop a comprehensive contract management solution, instead focusing on contract archiving. As a result, key features such as a negotiation interface for counterparties, native electronic signature, and the use of dynamic variables are not available on their platform.

By prioritizing product enhancement and user experience, Tomorro offers a more complete and user-friendly contract management solution tailored to the needs of both legal and business teams.
